About

I am a writer, teacher, and researcher exploring how language, power, and images shape the ways we communicate and understand each other. I teach in the Comparative Media Studies/Writing program at MIT, hold a PhD in Language and Rhetoric from the University of Washington, and live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Across my work, I see communication as an opportunity to think, question, and make meaning with others.
