My writing, teaching, and research explore how language, power, and images shape the ways we communicate and understand each other. I teach writing and communication at MIT, hold a PhD in Language and Rhetoric from the University of Washington, and live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Across my work—from course and program design to mentorship and public scholarship—I see communication as an opportunity to think, question, and make meaning with others.
